Travel of Bordeaux Châteaux

The Left Bank Bordeaux Cup International Wine Club Tasting Competition is sponsored by Commanderie du Bontemps of Bordeaux, France. This international tasting competition is defined as a competition for Bordeaux wine lovers, with strict selection criteria, and is only open to members of campus wine clubs of world-renowned universities and non-wine majors. The aim is to spread Bordeaux wine culture, and to cultivate a strong interest in Bordeaux wine among future business elites.

Since 2011, 60 wine clubs from Europe, USA and Asia have been selected to participate in the competition each year, with eight winning delegations being invited to the finals at Chateau Lafite Rothschild, to select the World Champion of the World Wine Club.

The World Champions will receive a series of prizes, including a prestigious collection of wines from Château Lafite and Commanderie du Bontemps. The competition is highly regarded and respected by members of the world’s leading universities, and is the number one international wine club event in the world.
